The most important national park of Andhra Pradesh is Nagarjunda Srisailam Wildlife Sanctuary. It was recognized as a sanctuary in the year 1978 and since then has actively contributed to preservation of wildlife.

Visit Coringa Wildlife Sanctuary that became famous for its rich cover of mangrove vegetation. However it also has a variety of bird and reptile species, many of which are rare or endangered.

Take a jungle safari in the think and deep forest of Eturnagaram Wildlife Sanctuary to sight the majestic animal species like tigers, horned antelope, sloth bear, chinkaras etc.

People interested in watching wildlife in a zoo are in for a great time in Indira Gandhi National Park which houses more than 80 species of animals. The zoo also turns out to be a great place for bird watching.
