Andhra Pradesh – The Land of Unknown Treasures

This is completely different from other Indo-Islamic monuments build. The Minars are built joined with the main structures unlike other Islamic structures where minars are separate from the main structure. The size of the arches on all four sides will leave you absolutely awe struck. Then there are other attractions like Golconda fort and Mecca Masjid in the city. The most recent addition to the list of monuments is Nagarjuna Sagar Dam which is the world's tallest masonry dam in the world.

It will not be wrong to say that Andhra Pradesh attracts far more pilgrims than tourists to its land. This is because it is home to the world famous Tirupati Lord Venkateshwara Temple. It is the world's richest Hindu Temple and the second most visited pilgrimage destination after Vatican. On an average, more than million pilgrims come to Tirupati everyday.
