Whatz Up In The City

In preparation for the upcoming Commonwealth Games, a slew of renovations and developments are changing the look and feel of the city, for the better. Stadiums are being reneweled, avenues are being broadened, new transport solutions are being envisaged, my ways are being changed to highways, so much so, that even a games village is also being developed. The whole city has already started pulsating with the expected charm of the sport events and you can see people discussing newer bets and dreams. India's national animal, the royal bengal tiger is to be the mascot of the games. Wow..such a robust symbol! It will surely inject high spirits in every sport lover's heart. Besides, a change in the attitude of river Yamuna is also on the table. Plans are coming up to refresh munumental heritages that pepper the terrain. No doubt, Delhi in 2010 will be a city to reckon with.
